王映丹 / Ying-Dan Wang
美國馬里蘭州立大學低音管演奏音樂藝術博士。
先後師事徐家駒、郭宗恆、及Linda Harwell。
曾獲1985和1987年台北市音樂比賽低音管獨奏冠軍， 以及1988年歌樂曲創作冠軍。
1996年獲美國亞斯本音樂節獎學金，
2000年榮獲亞力山卓交響樂團獨奏大賽榮譽獎以及馬里蘭大學協 奏曲比賽第二名。
2003年取得美國馬里蘭大學音樂 藝術博士文憑之後，返國致力於演奏和教學工作， 曾舉辦五場個人獨奏會，以及參與藝術室內樂團、 巴松主義室內樂團、國立台灣交響樂團、及音契管 絃樂團演出。
2005年9月應台中新民高中管弦樂團之邀，演出Berwald’s Concert Piece in F, Op.2 for bassoon and orchestra。
現為北台灣科技學院專任助理教授，
並任教國高中音樂班。

Ying-Dan Wang received the D.M.A. degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, in 2003, the M.M. from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, and the B.A. from the Taipei National University of the Arts. Her principal teachers are Kuo Tzung-Heng and Hsu Chia-Chu in Taiwan and Linda Harwell in USA, and she also studied chamber music with Phillip Kolker, and Daniel Matsukawa. As a chamber musician and an orchestra member, she has performed with Alexandra Symphony Orchestra, Capital City Opera Chamber Orchestra, The Kennedy Center Chamber Orchestra, Wolf Trap Opera Orchestra, and Washington Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.
